Brighter Tomorrows’ 19-bed shelter is supported by the Suffolk County Department of Social Services.
The address is kept strictly confidential to protect the safety of the residents.
Women and children in need of safe housing may remain in the shelter for up to 90 days.
The shelter is staffed by a Shelter Director, Case Manager, Child Care Worker, Counselors and House Managers.
There are a multitude of programs conducted weekly by Brighter Tomorrows staff and outside agencies. Such topics include:
