Brighter Tomorrows has three court advocates on staff. They operate primarily out of the Central Islip court house but can provide assistance in the Riverhead court house upon request. Their services are available in both English and Spanish.

Court Advocates are not attorneys. They provide supportive services to victims of domestic violence as they navigate the often complicated and complex legal system. Advocates can help victims with the many legal issues that often arise from domestic violence situations by going to court with the victim, providing emotional support and assisting them with family court petitions.

Court Advocates are available upon request by calling the 24 hour hotline 631-395-1800. Their services can also be requested at the clerks office in the Central Islip court house.

If you are a victim of domestic violence we can help.
